Based on church attendance it seems that most people want to hear that they are better than others, or preferred by God over others. This view is common in large churches. People who attend church want to hear that they are preferred because they attend church or do other things "for the Lord". There is nothing we can do for the Lord, and whatever we do is heavily influenced by outside forces like when and where we are born. Being a good church going christian is far less likely for those born in non-christian countries. So if becoming a christian or going to church is what gets us to Heaven then many people have the deck stacked against them. Whatever we do, God knows who His children are, and God will set all things straight.
Some people want to hear that there is no evil, that God’s love is not infinite unless God even loves hatred. But hatred limits love…hatred is anti-love and infinite love rejects all evil.
People on both sides want to hear that they are in control, but God is in control.
